Decision Mapping

User decisions are mapped to narrative techniques based on the story phase they are building, ensuring a coherent narrative flow.

We created various interactive elements, for the users to handle, exchange, and place on a phyical board.

Interactive Elements

  • Brief Type Cards: Different cards for various brief types with suggested usage.

  • Narrative Cards: Cards that offer narrative suggestions.

  • Story Evaluation System: A system based on five variables to evaluate stories.

Physical prototype

We constructed physical versions of an engaging board game to facilitate learning and application of storytelling principles.

To counter Covid-19 restrictions and to achieve greater scale we developed a PowerApp following the boardgame gamepley to support global teams in collaborative storytelling.

After initial engagement, we found out that teams started using StoryCraft not only as a storytelling device but also as a briefing helper. Visualising the hypothesis and structure of a brief to marketeers and brand teams.  

StoryCraft became part of the storytelling and data visualisation package of People Data Centre
